Step 3: Mounting the Poster with Wheat Starch Glue
Your cherished poster is delicately mounted to the lining paper using wheat starch glue. Awaiting the meticulous drying process ensures the canvas and poster intertwine seamlessly. This period of waiting, typically 2 to 3 days, contributes to the reduction of fold lines, preserving the poster’s appearance.
Step 4: Final Drying and Handling
After the drying period, the poster is carefully removed from the stretcher bars, allowing for safe handling. Optional restoration work, if chosen, is completed before framing.
